
Terbutaline
Indications:
For the symptomatic relief of bronchial asthma and for relief of reversible bronchospasm which may occur in association with bronchitis and emphysema.
How to take:
Adult and children over 15 years of age: 5mg 3 times daily, not to exceed 15mg in 24 hour basis. If disturbing side effects are observed, reduce dosage to 2,5mg 3 times daily without loss of beneficial effects,. Children 12-15 years of age: 2,5mg 3 times daily, not to 7,5mg in 24 hour basis. Precautions:
Do not violate instructions. Take with meals to minimize GI upset. Report adverse effects. Increase fluid intake to liquefy secretion.
